About the author

Ron D. Lux is a Slovak author of mystery fiction where everyday reality slowly cracks and reveals something darker beneath the surface.

Born in 1986, he grew up on a housing estate in a small town, an environment that strongly shaped his imagination. He started writing stories at eleven while also discovering programming.

He studied computer science at the Slovak University of Technology and works in IT, but writing has remained his long-term passion.

His debut under the pen name Ron D. Lux is the mystery novel Kým vyjde slnko (Before Sunrise).

Authors who influenced him include Stephen King, Gabriel García Márquez, Carlos Ruiz Zafón, Bram Stoker and Jo Nesbø.
