An ordinary high-school student who feels best when lost in the world of computer games and his own imagination. He avoids conflict, hides his insecurities, and quietly writes poems for a girl who barely notices him. Everything changes during one autumn storm in 1997. When the power goes out in the housing estate, Martin looks out the window and sees something that should not be there.
From that moment on, he is pulled into a world where ordinary rules no longer apply, and where he will have to find courage he never knew he had.
